The Mission Since its initiation, ON DEMAND has been committed and dedicated to state of the art technology positioning itself strongly through its technological advance and innovative development in the semiconductor industry. The core product – the Vector Signal Processing (VSP) is recognized as an enabling technology and was designed with the goal, ability and potential to consequently revolutionize the chip industry. This potential was achieved through the drive for high performance, the focus on combined advantages and acknowledged complimentary value drivers such as the fast-paced optimized hardware and the flexibility of the software environment. ON DEMAND - High-Tech made in Austria History The core team joined forces in 1991 with an Austrian based high-tech developer of highly integrated circuits for symmetric DSL broadband access. Due to its project references and technology expertise it attracted the interest of Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) which acquired the corporation in October 2000. Driven by the potential of cutting-edge technology and the strength of a revolutionary idea, a team of 4 key-engineers floated their own corporation in Autumn 2002 – ON DEMAND was founded and the realization of the core product VSP was started.
