![]() Sabtech IndustriesCompany Description:Sabtech Industries is a high-technology company that has been providing NTDS products domestically and internationally since 1985.Starting with the industry’s first NTDS board for PCs, our board line has evolved to keep pace with continuous advances in computer performance and architecture. With new products continually under development, Sabtech remains on course as a leading provider of up-to-date military communication products that meet the needs of our customers as they transition from legacy systems into an open systems environment. Our current board products connect navy computers and peripherals to the most common commercial open system architectures in use today including PC, VME, PCI, PCI Mezzanine Cards (PMC) and CompactPCI (cPCI). Today, Sabtech’s NTDS boards are widely used in naval systems in the U.S. and around the world. We’re proud to have been competitively chosen for major programs such as: AN/SSN-6 (V) Navigation Sensor System Interface (NAVSSI) AN/SQQ-89 (V) Undersea Warfare Combat System AN/SWG-5 (V) Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS) Submarine Combat Control System (CCS) MK-2 AN/SYQ-20 Advanced Combat Direction System (ACDS) MK-41 Vertical Launch System (VLS) AN/TSQ-214 Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) AN/SPQ-9B Radar Improvement Program AN/TSQ-90D(V) Tactical Electronic Reconnaissance Processing and Evaluation System (TERPES) AN/SLY-2 (V) Advanced Integrated Electronic Warfare System (AIEWS) AN/USQ-T46 Battle Force Tactical Trainer (BFTT) Aegis Conversion Equipment Group (ACEG) Aegis Combat System Interface Simulator (ACSIS) Distributed Engineering Plant (DEP) Distributed Sensor Simulation System (DS³) Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) Building on our MIL-STD-1397C NTDS expertise, Sabtech broadened its scope to include interface products based on MIL-STD-188-203-1A (TADIL A) and NATO STANAG 4146. TADIL A is used throughout the world for shipboard and airborne data links. STANAG 4146 is closely related to NTDS and supports shipboard communications in NATO countries. In the 1990's Sabtech developed turnkey replacement systems for many of the navy’s aging peripheral devices. The Sabtech Military Equipment Replacement System (SMILES™) replaces tape drives, disk drives and I/O consoles with up-to-date technology and performance. SMILES™ is currently in service with the U.S. and foreign navies. To help customers with system integration, Sabtech developed the NTDS I/O Analyzer (NIA), a powerful test tool used in the development and maintenance of NTDS systems. First introduced in 1994, it was replaced in 2002 by the NIA-II™ with greatly enhanced power and features. In 1996 Sabtech developed SNAPS™, an embedded multi-tasking operating system that turned Sabtech VME NTDS I/O boards into distributed processors. SNAPS™ produced such significant processing gains that it was designed in to many of the systems listed above and remains today a key factor in their performance. Progressing further, in 2002 Sabtech introduced its own line of PMC carrier cards, making it possible to increase the number of communication channels in a system while conserving space and costs. With innovative products always under development, Sabtech continues to introduce timely solutions to the challenges our customers face as they transition from legacy systems into an open systems environment. Today and into the future, Sabtech Industries remains on course as a leading supplier of up-to-date military communication products backed by a knowledgeable and responsive team of experts. Sabtech’s mission is to provide extraordinary value to its customers, vendors, and employees by maintaining the highest possible standards for our products, servic Worldwide Headquarters:
