Elan Microelectronics Corporation (ELAN) established its headquarter in Taiwan’s Hsinchu Science Park in May 1994 with an initial capital of NT$1 billion (30MUSD). Today, as it enters into its 10th year in the integrated circuits (IC) industry, ELAN is ranked among the top ten IC design houses in Taiwan, and its accumulated capital has more than tripled to NT$3.38 billion (101MUSD). The company was listed in Taiwan's stock market in September 2001.
