 BruteleCompany Description:Founded in 1968, Brutélé is an inter-communal cabled distribution company. Brutélé is a co-operative society with limited liability made up of affiliated communes.Set up at first to ensure cabled distribution in the commune of Ixelles, Brutélé has progressively spread throughout Brussels and the Walloon region. Brutélé currently provides access to cabled distribution in 6 Brussels communes and 22 Walloon communes, which accounts for about 300,000 households subscribed to its network. Since 1999, Brutélé has been licensed as a communications network operator by the IBPT (L'Institut Belge des Services Postaux et des Télécommunication). Through its modernized network comprising of a large infrastructure of fibre optics, Brutélé is a multimedia operator providing telecommunication services to individuals as well as to businesses.
