 SANBlaze TechnologyCompany Description:SANBlaze Technology, Inc. is a pioneer in storage emulation technologies and a leading provider of storage solutions for embedded systems. SANBlaze emulation systems are deployed in the test and development labs of most major storage hardware and software vendors. In addition to emulation products, SANBlaze designs and manufactures a complete line of AMC, PMC, ATCA and cPCI board level storage solutions for embedded computing systems.The SANBlaze VirtuaLUN Target Emulation System went through extensive alpha and beta testing in the first half of 2004, and shipped to our first customer in June of 2004. Since that time, we have delivered the product to an increasing list of SAN hardware, software and HBA vendors. A constantly evolving product, we have delivered 6 software upgrades, each addition incorporating many new features that our existing customers had asked for. In August of 2005, we added to the product solution suite with the addition of 4 G Fibre Channel Support. In October of 2005, we delivered a SAS Version of the product and the December 2005 software release added support for Tape Emulation. 2006 product releases included the GargantuLUN family, providing higher port density in the form of a 12 and 24 port 4G fibre Channel version. Also in 2006, the SANBlazter family of Initiator emulation solutions was introduced. The name VirtuaLUN comes from the fact that the product provides the ability to have virtual "LUNS" or disk drives. Truthfully, no one uses this name. Some people call it just the SANBlaze, the SANBlazer, the SANbolizer, the Target Emulator and a number of other names that the engineers here think are very funny but wouldn't really look good on a datasheet. Current goofy names being thrown about for the SAS version include the SASinator or the SAS-inkulator. Frankly, were not all that concerned with what people call it, as long as they call it a great, "indispensable tool that they can't be without." (an actual quote from a customer) Our embedded storage solutions are board level products that provide enterprise class storage technologies in form factors that address the storage requirements of embedded computing designs. SCSI, SAS, SATA and Fibre Channel adapters and storage blades are available for embedded platforms such as CompactPCI, MicroTCA and AdvancedTCA. We provide these commercial off the shelf (COTS) products directly to end users, as well as on an OEM basis through leading manufacturers in the embedded computing market. We are a well funded, private company, started by entrepreneurs and business people who have founded and grown successful, customer focused technology companies prior to beginning SANBlaze. We are located in the historic Clock Tower Place Office Park (the Mill) in Maynard, MA, which was built in the late 1800’s and produced carpets.
