Description:
- Intelligent network adapter offering two channels of 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet communications links on either copper or fibre media.
Uses a custom, intelligent ASIC for the control of the Gigabit Ethernet MACs (Media Access Controllers), thereby removing protocol processing overhead from the host processor, thus providing for higher nett data throughput. Dual channels provide redundant Gigabit Ethernet links for high system reliability with Redundant Link Management implemented in hardware managing unattended and automatic failure recovery of downed links.
Available in three air-cooled grades: ruggedised (-40 C to +85 C), industrial (-15 C to +75 C) and commercial (0 C to +55 C). Ruggedised version is ideally suited for environments with high temperature, shock and vibration levels.
Interfaces to 32-bit 3,3 V PCI-bus and complies with PCI-104 Version 1.0 specification.
Various software drivers offered including for VxWorks, Linux, Solaris, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003 operating systems as standard; others optional.
