Description:

BittWare's Danube 6-PaC PCI (D6PC) board features the processing power of six Analog Devices ADSP-TS201S TigerSHARC DSPs running at up to 600 MHz for a total of 21.6 GFLOPS. The board also integrates a Xilinx Virtex-II Pro™ FPGA, BittWare's SharcFIN™ PCI bridge, up to 512 MB of SDRAM, and two PMC sites - combining tremendous power with flexibility and ease of use. Although optimized for wireless telecom applications, the D6PC can be used for virtually any high-end DSP application. The D6PC features a single cluster of six ADSP-TS201S TigerSHARC DSPs from Analog Devices. In addition to 3.6 GFLOPS of floating point processing power and 24 Mbits of on-chip RAM, each TigerSHARC boasts four high-speed LVDS link ports running at up to 1,200 MB/sec each. Two link ports from each DSP are used to create an interprocessor communications ring, another link port is routed to discrete external connectors, and the last link port from each DSP is used to communicate with the on-board FPGA.
