- BittWare´s Hammerhead-Lite-PCI (HLPC) board provides high-performance DSP at a low cost. The PCI short card incorporates four low-cost 100 MHz ADSP-21161 SHARC DSPs, a 32-bit 33 MHz PCI interface, and expansive memory, including 64 MB SDRAM, 512 KW SBSRAM, and up to 8 MB Flash memory. The board also features a variety of I/O interface options, which include an audio interface, a PMC site, and external link and serial ports. The HLPC is configured with four 100 MHz ADSP-21161 DSPs, each of which provides 600 MFLOPS of processing power. The ADSP-21161 is code compatible with other ADSP-2116x SHARC DSPs and features 1 Mbit of on-chip dual-ported SRAM. Based on a SIMD core architecture that is optimized for digital signal processing performance, the ADSP-21161 supports both fixed- and floating-point data types.
