- The Video Capture and Compression PMC Adapter generates a compressed video data stream from a standard RS-170 video source using MPEG4 compression implemented in hardware. This compressed video data stream can be output directly on one of four high-speed serial output channels or passed to a host computer via the PCI bus.
Front-panel and rear connector I/O options with various rear connector PMC Jn4 I/O pin assignments. Conduction-cooled version has rear connector I/O only.
Available in three air-cooled grades : Ruggedised (-40 C to +85 C), Industrial (-15 C to +75 C) and Commerical (0 C to +55 C).
Interfaces to 32-bit, 33/66 MHz PCI-bus and complies with PCI Rev. 2.2 specification. Mechanically complies with Single CMC formfactor IEEE P1386-2001 specification.
Various software drivers offered including for VxWorks, Linux, Windows NT, Windows 2000* and Windows XP* operating systems as standard; others optional. (*Standard PC HAL only)
