Based on the Cavium OCTEON™ Plus multi-core processor, the AMC-7211 is capable of meeting wire-speed packet processing for L2-L7 for the full line rate of 4 Gbps.
The AMC-7211 is also available as part of an integrated line card solutions from RadiSys in the form of the ATCA-7200 family, comprised of the ATCA-1200 AMC carrier card with up to 4 AMC-7211 Single Mid-Size AMCs complete with data path and management control software to provide a complete line card solution.
