Description:: The AMC-3201/2 is a Single Mid-Size AMC that is designed to support mechanically or and electrically, SAS and SATA 2.5” Small Form Factor (SFF) drives. The initial implementation of the AMC-3201/2 and the HDD AMC are 2.5” SAS rotating disk. Future versions of the product will include SATA and FLASH drives. The AMC-3201 and AMC-3202 connect to Ports 2 and 3 per AMC.3 and require adequate +12VDC supply to ensure integrity of operation. All control of the drive is achieved with SCSI commands per SAS or SATA specifications. Out of band management of the drive is achieved with an on-board IPMI based Module Management Controller (MMC) which oversees all hot-swap operations, E-keying and monitors the health of the device, including; temperature and supply voltages. The AMC-3201 supports a 60GB SATA harddrive and the AMC-3202 supports a 73GB SAS harddrive.
