On Time's royalty-free embedded operating system for protected mode 32/64-bit x86 CPUs meets hard real-time requirements and implements a Windows subset kernel in only 16k of RAM/ROM. It can be fully integrated in Microsoft Visual Studio and supports about 250 Win32 API functions.

The free On Time RTOS-32 Evaluation Kit is fully functional and contains many example programs as well as the complete documentation. It allows executing On Time RTOS-32 applications on a PC compatible target or on Evaluation Boards for the AMD Élan SC400/410 or SC520 using the Microsoft Visual Studio debugger or Borland's free Turbo Debugger
