Summary: Do you need to adapt from your PMC with a SCSI connector to system wiring? The HDEterm68 provides SCSI Connector <=>Screw Terminal Block<=>SCSI connector for easy access to your high density signals. HDEterm68 snaps together with your PMC using standard SCSI cable. The system signals are tied in with the screw terminal block. Available with latch blocks or thumb screw, horizontal, vertical or mixed connectors, with and without the DIN rail mounting system.
Full Text: The high density 68 pin SCSI II/III connector is being used for non-SCSI interfaces because of board and front panel space limitations. In the PMC environment the SCSI connector provides an excellent size and pin count for the front panel space allowed. The SCSI connector while dense, is not easy to connect to with wiring intended to go to multiple locations.

HDEterm68 has been updated to use matched length differentially routed traces from the SCSI connector to the terminal block and from the terminal block to the second SCSI connector. In addition several termination options are available to support signal injection, filtering, loop-back testing etc.
