Middleton, WI – June 30, 2009– Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is shipping XPedite7130, a new 3U CompactPCI single-board computer based on Intel® Core™2 Duo (SL9380) processor. A full range of convection- or conduction-cooled configurations are available to satisfy the widest range of telecommunications to military applications. XPedite7130 also provides a PMC/XMC site with Ethernet and the traditional PCI bus (PMC) or PCI Express (XMC) support, ideal for high-bandwidth data-processing applications, storage or additional I/O.

XPedite7130 features include:
• Up to 4 GB of DDR2-400 ECC SDRAM
• 2 MB firmware hub flash (or 1 MB with redundancy) and 4GB of NAND flash
• J2 connector I/O includes:
o GPIO
o Two SATA ports
o Two USB ports
o PMC/XMC I/O
o Two RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 serial ports
• In-house X-ES operating system support includes:
o Green Hills INTEGRITY™ Board Support Package (BSP)
o Wind River VxWorks™ BSP
o QNX Neutrino™ BSP
o Linux LSP
o Windows drivers

XPedite7130 is shipping in commercial (0 to +55 degrees C), industrial and military (-40 to +85 degrees C) configurations. Pricing starts at $4,995 and discounts are available based on memory configuration, environmental requirements and volume purchases.
