IXI Mobile Announces Product Development MOU with SMART Modular Technologies

IXI Mobile, Inc. today announced a product development Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SMART Modular Technologies, Inc., a wholly owned company of Solectron Corporation, to design equipment for deployment of ”designed for PMG” Sleek Devices.


The PMG is the bridge between the mobile and the Personal Area Networks (PAN), combining cellular and short distance wireless with micro-router and micro-server functionalities. It is the point of connection between the wireless network and the new category of affordable and best-of-breed mobile devices. The PMG enables a new set of innovative, optimized Sleek Devices (e.g. watches, pens, phones, messaging terminals, gaming devices, cameras) that deliver a superior wireless experience, while still focused on fashion and budget.
