Company Description:

All the involved research groups are in well-established disciplines, and as such participating in Research Institutes. We have chosen not to tear them away from their (application) discipline, but form an initiative to explicitly let the link with the application domain stay, and of course, to avoid organizational competition. So, the Twente Embedded Systems Initiative is embedded in the existing institutes, CTIT, MESA+ and DREBBEL. So all projects will be faculty research or be part of one of these institutes. Moreover, Ph.D. research will be embedded in the existing research schools like IPA, DISC etc. Hence, the existing institutes and faculties will support project management and administration.
