Ultimodule's integrated system of hardware, IP, and software building blocks, as well as an optimized IDE based on Eclipse, helps embedded designers reduce time to market. The Ultimodule system eliminates redundant front-end design and allows easy mix and match of blocks to experiment and build fast prototypes. Ultimodule was founded in California in January 2003. Its corporate investor, Exor International, has provided seed funding and foundation technology developed over the last decade for the industrial automation sector. Initial target markets include industrial automation, security, test and measurement, automotive, and avionics. Ultimodule extends its development and support resources through participation in an “ecosystem” of independent companies that collaborate to optimize each others' products.
