 CEITCompany Description:The School of Engineering of the University of Navarra began its activity in 1962. Financial support by the provincial savings bank Caja de Ahorros Provincial de Gipuzkoa allowed the creation of a small technology institute called Centro de Investigaciones Técnicas de Gipuzkoa (CIT), whose aim was to carry out advanced studies and projects for local companies.In 1982, the financial impulse provided by the Basque Government permitted the creation of a few technology centres, CEIT among them. CEIT was formally set up on 11th of April 1982 as a non-profit research institute, whose mission was to carry out contract applied research and technological development for industry. CEIT immediately absorbed CIT and established a close collaboration with the University of Navarra. Worldwide Headquarters:
