The REACT extensions enable a programmer to design an application that delivers guaranteed, hard real-time performance. REACT features include POSIX 1003.1b interfaces, fixed priority scheduling, processor isolation and control capabilities, interrupt control and routing and I/O interfacing to the PCI and VME buses.
