Parvus’ ISA to PC/104 Bus Adapter enables a 16-bit ISA-based PC host system to interface with 16-bit PC/104 modules in a direct bus-to-bus link. Developers can use the adapters to inexpensively develop and test PC/104 modules on an ISA-based computer with desktop software tools. All signals found on the PC/104 bus operate with the same purpose and function as their ISA bus (IEEE-P996) counterparts and provide data transfers at full PC/AT transfer rates.
This adapter is designed to fit a 16-bit ISA backplane. It comes with a metal PC card bracket, gold plated ISA card edge connectors, 104-pin PC/104 header, and nylon PC/104 stand-offs for securely mounting a PC/104 card to the adapter. The self-stacking PC/104 header allows multiple modules to be used at the same time, limited only by the space available within the host platform.
