Description:

The ATCA-7400 comes populated with one AMC-7201 or AMC-7202. It can be built up with other three more AMC-7201 or AMC-7202 cards to build a 16 x OC-3/STM-1 line card. It can also be built with other AMC such as, Security (IPSec/SSL), Storage, I/O, E1/T1 AMCs to build an application specific blade such as a mini-VoIP gateway with a DSP AMC and a Processor AMC.
The ATCA-7400 comes complete with API´s running on the carrier board´s Local Management Processor (LMP) to provision the AMCs and manage data paths. Provisioning API´s enables a System Manager to remotely load, start or stop and update an application running on an AMCs. Data control path API´s manage the PCI-Express™ switch and GE switch to enable AMC to AMC communication across the PCI-E as well as route IP data flows across AMCs or to the ATCA fabric respectively.
