The Technology Exhibitions Week 2008, the great international event showcasing technology and innovation for industry, opens Tuesday 27 through Friday 30 May 2008 at the futuristic Exhibition Centre of Fieramilano-Rho.

In the wake of the success of the previous edition, the event returns under its 4-shows-in-one format, to offer one of the world's most comprehensive range of trail-blazing technology exhibits for the greater advancement of exhibitors and visitors alike BIAS, Biennial International Exhibition of Automation, Instrumentation, Microelectronics and ICT for Industry, Fluidtrans Compomac, Biennial International Exhibition of Fluid Power, Power and Motion Transmission, Drive, Control Equipment and Industrial Design, Mechanical Power Transmission & Motion Control, Biennial International Exhibition of Motion Control Systems, Drive Techniques and Mechanical Power Transmissions, BI.MAN, Biennial Exhibition on Industrial Maintenance.

The 2006 show was hailed as a success and met with the approval of both exhibitors and organizers. 1677 participating companies attracted 75,686 attendees, and principally, managers, engineers and technicians from all the branches of industry and application, with foreign national visitors accounting for over 25% of total attendance.

In addition, in 2008 the synergy between the 4 shows will be get a further boost from the coincidence with XYLEXPO, Biennal World Exhibition for Woodworking Technologies, which showcases one of the major industries using the range of applications featured at Technology Exhibitions Week.
