Banners in the e-Gazette
|
On
top of our html version of the e-gazette a banner including a
click through link can be placed. A text version of the banner is used
in text version of the e-Gazette. The banners are placed in a first
request – first
placed order for each individual week through the year.
The weekly e-gazette in both text and html format is distributed only to people who subscribed to it.
Today, the e-gazette has more than 4500 subscribers.
These email addresses are constantly checked and classified depending on the
owner address of the domain name. However, this list is also qualified
through a yearly re-subscription process.
As demonstrated in our web statistics, the virtual press room is the
major attracting point of our website and this is especially
initiated by the e-Gazette.
As indicated by the Visits by day of the week website statistics, there is a serious jump on Tuesdays when the e-Gazette is launched.

Each section in the website has the
capability to receive a different banner. Again here, the banners are
placed on a first request – first placed order for each month.
A quick look to the website statistics
will show you that we have on average 2410 visitors per weekday. This
figure indicates high visibility potentiality of a banner or
skyscraper.
You can place a banner on top of a single page or on top of a whole section.
A section is indicated by the folder in the website.
For example:
- A top section in the encyclopedia is /encyc. A banner in this section is viewed on all the pages of that section or folder
- A smaller section is /encyc/buyersguide/players. A banner in this section will be viewable on all pages of the players' section
- A single page is also possible. You can for example put a banner on top of your player or product page.
Of course, with this setting, it is possible that 2
or more banners end up to be placed on top of the same page. If this is
the case, the different banners are shown in a rotating manner, giving
equal visibility to the banners on that page.
